Bridging Courses Offered at Univen

The University of Venda offers bridging courses or extended programmes to the students that have Bachelor’s pass in Grade 12.

According to Univen, students who do not meet the requirements for their chosen degree but have obtained a Bachelor’s pass in Grade 12 or Matric with university exemption (APS of 28–31, excluding Life Orientation) may be allowed to do Extended Degree Programmes. These programmes extend the normal duration of study to 4 years.

1. Extended Bachelor of Administration (MSEABA) – 4 Years
2. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (MSEBCA) – 4 Years
3. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Business Information Systems (MSEBIS) – 4 Years
4. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management (MSEBCM) – 4 Years
5. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Cost and Management Accounting (MSECMA) – 4 Years
6. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Economics (MSEBCE) – 4 Years
7. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management (MSEHRM) – 4 Years
8. Extended Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism Management (MSECTM) – 4 Years
